This video showcases the current snapshot of the multiview branch I’ve been working on.

For follow ups in the development I will keep posting in the bf-committers mailing list. But I will try to keep my blog up to date as well.
If you like my desktop background, this is the cover of my upcoming “Game Development with Blender” book with Mike Pan. The book is its final revision stage (checking the final pdfs about to be printed) and should be shipped soon. The pre-sale campaign on Amazon is still on-going.
Have a good day!

This is reallly cool feature…when is it going to come …or is it ready for beta..if i can download it …Yesterday i was learning about switching camera in the scene..now this one reallly gonna make everything so simple with all views…
Hi Syed,
All the features you see in the video are available in the github branch.
Right now you have to build it yourself however.
As soon as Blender 2.67a is out the exr2.0 libraries will be available in Blender trunk which should help for more people to build. Which eventually can lead to a build in graphicall.org
Unfortunately It’s for more hardcore-testers/tech savvy at the moment.
Excelent!
Congratulations,
Very interesting !!!!
Hi,
It’s just amazing !!! I download the last build from buildbot, but I not found how to use the 3d viewport ? Could you help me please ?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Matt, please check the official (wip) documentation on:
https://github.com/dfelinto/blender/blob/multiview/HowToTestIt.md
https://github.com/dfelinto/blender/blob/multiview/README.md
If you still have troubles let me know.
And once you have things working, feedback is also welcome 😉
Thanks
Will this also include Oculus Rift VR headset?
Hi, not at first. But this should make it easier for people to implement that later. I’m not sure you would be using oculus rift for modeling, but it may be a cool experience
